Josh McGlothlin joined McKee Financial in 2018 and is a Wealth Advisor with Gladstone
Institutional Advisory, LLC. With more than a decade of experience in financial services,
Josh collaborates with individuals and families to help them make thoughtful decisions
about the wealth they have worked hard to build.
Originally from Bloomington, Indiana, Josh and his wife, Teryn, recently fulfilled a dream of
their own by making Southwest Florida their home. While maintaining close ties to his
Midwest roots, experiencing this relocation firsthand gave Josh a unique appreciation for
the families and professionals who work hard to build meaningful lives, and are nowlooking to
establish their own next chapter in the Sunshine State.
Too often, successful individuals become so focused on earning, saving, and growing their
wealth that they lose sight of why they were building it in the first place. Between
demanding careers, family responsibilities, and competing life priorities, it is easy to focus
so much on the numbers that the experiences and moments that matter most get pushed aside.
Josh believes true financial success should provide the freedom and confidence to enjoy
life today while still preparing for the future. His process begins by understanding who the
client is, how they are living today, if that version aligns with the vision they had, and where
they want to go from here. By prioritizing what matters most, Josh helps clients with making
decisions that support their long-term goals while enjoying the things they want along the
way.
For Josh, building wealth is more than just money. The real value comes from being able to
use the money with a purpose. This could be more time with family, starting a new
endeavor, traveling, early retirement, giving, or simply having more flexibility in the choices
ahead.
Outside of work, Josh and Teryn are raising their two children, Savannah and Jacob. They
enjoy exploring Southwest Florida, traveling, and following their Indiana Hoosiers. Josh also
enjoys getting in a round of golf whenever he gets the chance.
